I then purchased a Joblot of uncleaned Roman coins, and my passion for Collecting ancient artefacts was born.<br>Initially, my collection was solely Roman coins, but it gradually evolved into an extensive collection from 1150 BC to 1000 AD. My collection ranges from Bricks to Brooches and everything in between!<br>One of the many joys of collecting Ancient Artifacts is cleaning and identifying them. Sometimes, identifying Artifacts can be quite arduous. The longest one so far took me a month to identify, which ended up being a silver Viking pendant (but I&#8217;m still not 100% certain)!<br>Most of my collection, besides coins, dates from the 4th to the 11th century AD. This is a fascinating period of history because not very much is known about it, and something new is discovered almost every week.<br>As an Orthodox Christian, it is doubly fascinating because you can handle and admire something that was around in the time of the Gospels and the Saints!
