- Do I have to have academic qualifications to start the Certificate course?
As a requirement for admission to the course, students will need to have a good grasp of the English language and hold a minimum of GCSE or equivalent educational qualification.
- Do I have to do the certificate Course to start the Diploma Course?
As a requirement for admission, students must speak and write English adequately, have completed education to GCSE standard, and preferably A level, and have completed the Certificate Course.
- Do I have to come in person for the Certificate & Diploma Courses?
It is important you come in person if you can. The Seminary is based in the Midlands of England, enjoying good transport links by road, rail and air.. Those who live further than 150 miles from the venue may join remotely; however, there is an expectation that they attend in person on the 1st, 5th and final sessions. Students will normally attend lectures in person on each study day. Coming from their various Church communities, they build on shared experiences. The sessions allow for maximum participation and discussion. This personal interaction is fundamental to the ethos of the Seminary.
- How are the students of the Certificate and Diploma Courses assessed?
Assessment at the end of the Certificate Course comprises one 2500 word essay, several short multi-media presentations with (500 word maximum) seminar papers, and student contributions to the discussion in the sessions.

- Bursaries
If finance is a problem, do not be put off; bursaries of up to 50% may be available in certain circumstances. Students’ parishes may wish to sponsor them.
