ON WEDNESDAY EVENINGS 7PM: ZOOM SESSIONS
Both of these weekly Book Studies, led by Father Stephen Maxfield, cover a wide range of material. We study the history and theology of the Church, with an emphasis on Scripture. It is a marvellous opportunity to deepen our knowledge of the tradition and practices of the Orthodox Christian faith, led by an engaging and experienced tutor who has the art of unpacking the most the knottiest problems and throwing light on them. As an ongoing catechesis, for both beginners and mature students, it is unparalleled.
ON THURSDAYS, WE MEET AFTER 10.30 MORNING SERVICE IN THE CHURCH OF THE HOLY FATHERS, SHREWSBURY
The service is the short Service of Supplication at 10.30am on weeks with no weekday liturgy, so book session and discussion begins about 11.30am. check beforehand as it sometimes drops out in favour of a Liturgy and is not available in the latter part of Great Lent. https://shrewsburyorthodox.com/calendar/
